(composed after the October trek 2007)

There was a little bird tweeting on a tree

It sang a little song about Kathryn and me

She rode up the valley on her trusty horse

    While dad took the lunches up the other course 

    A crowd of riders met top of the hill

         The lunches all spreed out there ready for their fill

           A fabulous day completed with trails travelled on

  ending with the Bar-Be music and song 

Mathew and the riders all waited next day

as the lunches all seemed to go  astray

 Dad got a bit flustered as late that he was

      helping hand lost on computer, I'll tell the boss !!

                    Lunches did arrive but a little late, concentration lost I missed the gate

                   Not to worry it turned out alright, when the 4x4 came into sight

                      The sun was shining it wasn't damp, so off we all go round trails to camp

                    Next day on the trails once again,  Round to the Mobil Station No rain !!

                     Refreshments were had all round, dad got the rubbish not to litter the ground

                            Now on to the beach the riders all went and around to Hoof Camp the weekend was spent.
